Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the location was charming and a short drive from the Baseball Hall of Fame, my room left a lot to be desired in terms of comfort and upkeep. The staff had their moments, but overall, I felt there were significant service issues that could easily be improved. Dining was also not up to par as there were no breakfast options available, which was disappointing.
Staying here was an experience I won't forget, but not for the right reasons. While I was grateful to have a roof over my head for a brief night, the overall condition of the hotel and lack of staff made for a rough stay. The location is close to Cooperstown, which is a plus, but the state of the place left much to be desired. For the price, I expected a lot more comfort and cleanliness.
This hotel has a unique charm and is set in a lovely location right by a large lake, perfect for outdoor activities like ice fishing. However, my room did not meet my expectations, especially after paying extra for a 'lake view.' The service leaves much to be desired, and the absence of breakfast options was disappointing. Despite the friendly staff, the hotel's condition and cleanliness could use improvement.
Staying at the Lake House was a wonderful experience! The setting is just beautiful, right by the lake, and the accommodations were spacious and modern, making it perfect for families. The location is serene, yet just a short drive to downtown Cooperstown. While I truly enjoyed my stay, there was one staff member whose attitude could use improvement. Overall, I can't wait to return!
My stay at this hotel was a complete disappointment. The place had serious cleanliness issues, with filthy windows and an unkempt bathroom. The location might seem appealing, being close to outdoor attractions, but the overall state of the hotel made it hard to enjoy. It had some quirky aspects like roaming cats, but ultimately, it feels more like a horror story than a relaxing retreat.
